Spanish Tapas
Whether it be the classic traditional tapas or the sophisticated modern Catalan incarnations, everyone seems to love Spanish tapas! And why not? Those beautiful little lovingly-made mouthfuls are the perfect snack to enjoy whilst propping-up a bar in a side-street cantina whilst swigging an ice-cold Vermut! And here’s your chance to reinvent that Spanish holiday with a few Balearic creations of your own - all to enjoy as a communal gastronomic feast. Each student will have their own work station, equipment and ingredients to work with. These courses are designed to be relaxed, informative and fun.
COOKERY LEVEL: Beginner to Intermediate (see further information on cookery levels here).
Expect recipes like: Tortilla Española (Patatas), Catalan Toasts/Pa Amb Tomàquet, Allioli, Wild Mushroom & Allioli Toasts/Toastados de Setas y Allioli, Croquetas de Jamon Serrano, Sangria, Marinated Baby Aubergines with pine nuts and raisins, Shrimp cakes (Tortillitas de camarones), Chorizo with cider (Chorizo a la sidra), Pollo con datiles, Leche Frita, Churros.

TIMES: 9.30am to 4.30pm
COST: £145 per person which includes refreshments throughout the day, a communal gastronomic feast with wine, regional beverage and coffee, your own apron and recipes to take home. Places are only confirmed once paid in full and are non-refundable or transferable.
FRIENDS & FAMILY: are welcome to join the participants for a student made tapa lunch, 2 glasses of wine and coffee for just £35 per person (limited availability).
LUNCH: 3pm

WHAT TO WEAR: Aprons are provided though please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy.
