Bread Making for Beginners - Saturday 1st
KNOW YOUR DOUGH: Ever fancied trying your hand at bread making? Let our master baker show you just how easy it is to make proper artisan bread that is both delicious and nutritious. Once hooked, you’ll never go back to shop-bought again!
Proper bread should be made from just flour, water, yeast and salt - and nothing else! Our bread-making courses follow this ethos using locally-milled stone ground flours to produce wonderfully delicious and nutritious bread. They take place in our new Workshop facility and are relaxed, informative and fun.
By the end of day you’ll have produced a number of breads, both savoury and sweet, to eat or take home together with recipe cards for your own home bread making. All dough is hand-kneaded and aprons are provided though it’s best to dress casually and comfortably as bread-making can be a messy activity! These courses always sell out really quickly so book your place now!
TIMES: 10am to 4pm-ish
NUMBERS: 6-12 participants
COSTS & EXTRAS: £75 per person, lunch with wine included (as well as coffee and various breads to take home), paid in advance; friends and family can join you for lunch for just £15 per person.
